I needed some help improving my home theater system. I have a 5.1 Pioneer Home Theater System with 1000W of total power. The S-FCR4700 and S-W3700-K packages are what make up my home theater system. Everything I’m using is out of the box and I haven’t purchased any separate wires or amps. I was looking for some general tips to improve the overall sound quality and volume. Some specific things I need advice on are:
Should I purchase different speaker wire that has improved gold implementation?
Is there a certain way I should insert the speaker wires in to the speakers and amp?
In my operating guide it says I should keep my subwoofer away from my TV because it is not magnetically shielded like my other speakers and until today (accidentally of course) I kept it under the TV, will any damage have occurred (only had the system for a few months)?
Will keeping my subwoofer 1.3 feet away from the TV with a cabinet of sorts in between be enough of a distance?
ThnX for your help!
