If you attach it, then be prepared to leave it when you go, or be able to repair the damage that you did to the cabinet.

If not, then the landlord may keep most of your deposit.

If it is a painted cabinet, then you can use wood filler and repaint it yourself. good luck.

do you think they really care about holes under the cabinet,and by the way does’nt it say in your rental agreement that anything you install stays in the apt. when you move?

I would consider returning it and find an alternate radio. It may be a space saver, but you may not get all of your deposit back when you leave.

How easy is it to see under the counter? If no one notices the holes, go for it

Attaching the radio to the cabinets by drilling holes and using the screws you have “permanently attached” the radio. Read your lease, More than likely it becomes property of the landlord.

BUT have you considered “temporarily” attaching the radio. I would think Velcro should do the trick.
