Mold on bottom of cabinet, solution?

The cabinet in the bathroom that’s under the sink has some mold growing on it and the wood has cracked in a bit from water. Is there anyway to remove, fix, or stop the mold from spreading? I appreciate all the help!

can a non-violent felon help move a gun cabinet?

    Posted: May 5th, 2011 | Author: | Filed under: Under Cabinet Tips | Tags: , , , , | 10 Comments »

He has one more month on a 5 year probation. We have a family member moving from her home and needs help with a huge gun cabinet. It’s full of rifles. Should I go and remove all these rifles and get them off the property, before he touches the gun case? I was told if he got in to someones car and they had a legal gun under the seat and were stopped and searched for some reason, the felon could be tossed in jail just for being in the car with the gun, even if he knew nothing about it.
    Thanks Kelly…we are in Virginia.

Hi. One of my cabinet racks just collapsed..?

      Posted: May 4th, 2011 | Author: | Filed under: Under Cabinet Tips | Tags: , , , | 2 Comments »

The rack in my kitchen cabinet, where I used to keep pots and pans just fell off. Its one of those regular partment cabinets. Racks are held up by a pin sort of thing under it.
I was wondering how I’d know how much weight it can hold.
I keep all my supplies on similar racks. Now I’m worried what if the whole cabinet is too …em…not strong.
      Any advice?
Please let me know if more info is needed. Thanks.
the racks seem to be of some sort of plywood.
The cabinet has perforations in which a ‘pin’ has been inserted and the racks are placed on these pins or pegs.
I can change the hight of the racks by putting the pins in a different set of perforations.

Did you know that many of the people in Bush’s cabinet were around the White House when Nixon was in office?

And they were there under most Replican administrations since then . Take Rumsfeld, he was White House Chief of Staff under Nixon, he was Sec. of State under Bush’s daddy. Cheney was there too. What I’m getting at is these people have been running the country for years and it’s as screwed up as it was back then. Let’s get Bush and his advisers out of the White House! Who’s in?

I would like to get an appraisal for this wall cabinet.

          www.photos.yahoo.com/sizzlinsands

I bought it in Hanau Germany in 1982. It has a top piece which sits on the bottom piece. It had a bar on one side with a mirror in back and black glass shelf with one drawer under the shelf. It looks like a beatiful red colored wood on the inside of the whole unit. The glass is rounded and it looks like it was handpainted in a gold type of paint. It has a pleated backing in a diamond pattern in some type of material, it looks like vinyl in a green/gold color. It has glass shelves in the middle of the piece. It also has four skeleton keys. The outside of the piece is stained very dark. Two doors on each side are done in what looks like a tiger maple with a clear shalack over the top.

Does anyone knows how to convert old AOL filing cabinet emails into an MS Word document?

            Posted: April 27th, 2011 | Author: | Filed under: Under Cabinet Tips | Tags: , , , , , , , , | No Comments »

More specifically, old emails stored under Windows 95 in an AOL file cabinet. Doesn’t necessarily have to be converted to MS Word. Plain .txt would be perfectly fine as well. I know that there are people that you can pay to do this for you out there. Just was curious if I could do this on my own. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

It is still too tacky to handle. We are in humid Central Florida so that is a factor but it appears that this paint is never going to kick. We brought the drawers indoors under air but they are still just as tacky. Any experts out there?
