In our history class we have a class government and I am the president. I was under the belief that we could run our governement the way we wanted abiding by the constitution. So I attempted to give a member of my cabinet similar power to me like a co-president. Now my class is trying to get me impeached, so I need help keeping from getting impeached. Other than this one thing, I haven’t done anything that could make people want to impeach me.
I have a very small bathroom and space tight and we need to make this work for two people any thoughts on storage? We only have one cabinet under the sink that’s it and then I toilet and shower and that’s all there is room for. NOT MUCH SPACE. How can we create space?
Did some research, 28 cabinet members under Clinton from 1993-2000 were as follows– 5 white woman,15 white men,4 Black men,3 Latin men and 1 Asian man. 28 cabinet members under GW Bush from 2001-2006 are as follows– 3 white woman,16 white men,1 black woman, 3 Black men, 3 latin men,1 Asian man and 1 Asian woman. Clinton had no Black or Asian women serve in his cabinet. These are facts, is there another administration with more diversity I’m unaware of?
What sets a kitchen off more than a kitchen island? The answer is nothing. The kitchen island has become a favorite design feature and can set the tone of the entire space. If you don’t have one, you might consider adding one as it is not only utilitarian but adds significant value to your kitchen.
Don’t have enough space you say? Well not all islands have to be monsters. At a minimum, you want to have 3 feet separating your island from any wall or counter. More is better with 4 feet being ideal. With that in mind, grab a tape measure and see what kind of clearances you have and that will give you an idea of what sizes island you can build.
Next think about how you would use. Remember there are two parts to it. There’s the counter top that’s going to be visible but then you also have the cabinets below that can serve as storage or places to keep appliances. Is this just going to be a food prep center? Will you need a sink? What kind of surface will you want on the top? Will the microwave fit below? How much space will you save on your existing countertops?
Once you’ve answered these questions and you have the dimensions that you think will work, draw the base of the island on a large piece of brown paper and cut it out. Now you have something you can lay on the kitchen floor and get a good feel for how much space it will take up.
Once you have an idea as to size and purpose, then go to your favorite home improvement store and see if they can give you more ideas. You may be able to do part of the work yourself but in all likely hood you’re going to need an electrician at least. The last thing you want is a storage and work area that large without convenient access to power.
Also consider if the island can be viewed from other rooms. Often the open design of homes allows some look at the kitchen. You might consider adding a lip along the edge that faces the other room to hide the food prep mess or aftermath.
Once you have it built you’re going to love it. Not only will it look great but it will make work in the kitchen so much easier. If you have the space you really should consider adding a kitchen island.
I would like to replace my kitchen under cabinet 20 Watt halogen puck lights with something that is more energy efficient, uses less electricity, runs cooler and produces brighter, more even lighting. Any ideas?
When you think about furniture for your home theatre, the first thing that jumps to mind is chairs and seating. This isn’t a bad thing. The chairs and seating are extremely important in a home theatre set up, but don’t let your mind stop there. If you do, you’ll be robbing yourself, and those you entertain, of a lot of potential fun from setting up the room in any style or theme that you want!
Part of the fun of having a home theatre, is having a separate room for it. You don’t have to stop with a leather sofa, or a few recliners. Find posters of your favorite movies, or often times video stores will have cardboard cut outs that they eventually just throw away. You can make your home theatre look like a normal place to watch a movie, or it can look like half the movies made in the 1970s came to life around your surround sound speakers. The room can be a place to watch the game, or it can have green carpet, and football field wall paper. The possibilities really are virtually endless, limited only by your imagination and a reasonable budget.
Aside from the ambiance and furniture, don’t forget that you need furniture to hold your home theatre. Obviously the entertainment center has to be the center attention of the room. What kind of TV do you have? Is it an HD/TV, a Plasma? Do you have your own fine wooden cabinet for the entertainment center already picked out? What does the wood look like? If you have a TV that hangs on the wall, well how do you accessorize that? Where do you put the speakers? Where do you put the DVD player? All of these questions are considerations you need to keep in mind, and the selection of furniture is critical to all these elements.
There are a lot of different options as far as what kind of furniture you need and/or want. Accessories for this area could include audio visual cabinets, video cabinets, TV cabinets, stereo cabinets, multimedia storage cabinets, or entertainment cabinets. There are cabinets of every shape, color, make, and design that can accommodate almost any need or desire you have for the room.
Beyond the necessities, there are even the fun little things people don’t expect. Popcorn machines are cheaper than they used to be, and for the bachelor with the great home theatre, why not build a bar right in the back of the room? It’s your home theatre, why not get the home theatre furniture and other miscellanea that gives it your personality?
No one ever made a good impression by following everyone else, so find the home theatre furniture and accessories that will make that home theatre distinctly yours. After all, you’re the one spending the money, you’re the one putting in a home theatre, shouldn’t it be something you can truly enjoy?
Brainstorm all the ideas you have, make a list, and do your homework. Do these three things are you’ll be sure to end up with the home theatre system, sound, and furniture you want to make it one of a kind.
It doesn’t matter if your bathroom is small or huge—there will always be modern vanities that you can add. These pieces and even ensemble don’t only possess function, but also form. Modern vanities are meant to add more character, emotion, and ambiance to what could have been a four-walled portion of your home.
Wide Range of Selections
When you’re talking about modern vanities, you are talking about your imagination. This is because there are plenty of pieces that you can choose from. Some of them are stand-alones, which you can later combine with other modern vanities, especially if you want to create a general theme on your bathroom. There are also others that come in pairs or even sets.
Mirrors. One of the most common modern vanities that you can take advantage of are mirrors. They may be incorporated to cabinets or other standing fixtures. They can also be independent pieces, which you can attach or mount to your wall, just above the sink. The good thing about mirrors is that they add more space to your room, especially for those who are longing for more breathable space. They also make the room more airy or cozier.
Lighting. The best possible complement of mirrors will be lights. These modern vanities can also be installed directly into the cabinet or be placed near mirrors, so they can add more illusion of space. You may also add lights to different corners of your bathroom. If you can, add a small lamp at the corner of your tub and light it when you want to tone down the mood of your bathroom and make it more rejuvenating or even romantic.
Sinks. Other kinds of modern vanities may include sinks, particularly basin sinks. They are not only very useful, but they can also be a beautiful fixture to your countertop. If you want to save some space, you can add the sink right into a cabinet. The best and perhaps the most usual choice for sink-and-cabinet modern bathroom vanity is wood. This is because they are easier to blend in with the other pieces in your bathroom. They also look very sophisticated and elegant. But you can also opt to buy those that are unpainted ones, so you will have the freedom to paint your preferred color.
Shower Enclosures. When you have combined your washroom and bathroom, you may want to separate the two by using modern bathroom vanities like shower enclosures. These are commonly made of tempered glass, though the cheaper ones come from recyclable materials. You can add shower chair, shower radio, and other accessories inside, so you can have your own spa or even sauna right inside the enclosure.
Bath Tub. Nothing seems more relaxing than soaking yourself to one of the most popular modern bathroom vanities in the world: bath tub. All you need to do is to look for a space where you can fit it. You can go for the rectangular- or the circular-shaped tubs.Â
Don’t forget to pepper your various modern bathroom vanities with some more essential bathroom accessories like a bathroom caddy, perhaps a small shelf, and a towel ring.
Make your bathroom as flexible as it can be. There are a lot of modern vanities that you can select. Surplus Décor offers you with contemporary designs, which are surely excellent pieces intended for your home.
