I am looking at buying a used Whirlpool microwave that was mounted against a wall to replace my Hotpoint microwave that is mounted over an island (under cabinets & cabinets on the side with a board covering the back). They are both 30″ wide. I’m wondering if the mounting parts are universal so I could use the same parts. The guy selling his says he only has the wall mount. Is this a difficult job? This is between the bottom of the cabinets and the top of the countertop. Should I have left a border and if I dont’ have one do I then have to take down the cabinets in order to tape the seam?

We have an old house that has never had a range hood. We don’t want a vent-less system. To save on space we’d like to vent directly from the side of a hood out to the side of our house.

I’ve looked with no success for a range hood that comes ready to be side vented. I can only find rear or top vented units.

Can a vent hood be modified by turning the position of the fan unit and making a hole for the venting to be shunted off to the side or are we stuck with buying a top vent unit and elbow piecing through the cabinets?

I am looking for Stainless Steel under mount kitchen sink. It sould be a double sink with one small than the other. I need one smaller the the normal 33 wind and 22 deep. If I could find one about 29 or 30″ wide and about 18 inches deep ( from Front to back) I would be happy.

Also I want to control any odor and are there bags I can put in it that will not harm the enviroment? We would empty weekly and put out with the lawn waste.
