I am doing a home renovation. I am desperately seeking under-cabinet puck lights.
I need a set of 3 that operate on normal voltage that will hard wire into a wall light switch.
I need 1 low voltage recessed puck and transformer that will hard wire into a wall light switch.
Why do Home Depot, Lowe’s, Amazon, etc. only sell the kind that plug into the wall?
I found the low voltage kind here: http://www.brodwax.com/pucklight.htm
Still seeking the 120V type.
I’d rather buy on the internet than search for a specialty store. I am doing a entire house, and it too time consuming to have to find and drive to specialty stores.
Does anyone know if they make puck style LED under cabinet lights? And if they do make these, where can i get them? Website? I’m not looking for halogen lights, or battery operated LED lights. I want to hard wire these to a light switch. Can LED’s be dimmed? Is there such thing as a 3-way dimmable switch? So I can dim the lights from either switch at opposite ends of the kitchen. Thanks for the help!
so far i seen some lights made by sylvania, but one downside is that you have to rip them off to change the battery and they might not re-stick.
and I also seen these:

how far apart should they be? how far from the edge of the last cabinet? should they be closer to the front of the cabinet or the rear or in the middle?
thanks!
Have under-cabinet “puck” lights with a “thru-cord” switch. Don’t have the instructions for the wiring of the switch. I believe the wire, which has a ribbed and smooth side, has to be split for the switch. Help! Thanks
I would like to replace my kitchen under cabinet 20 Watt halogen puck lights with something that is more energy efficient, uses less electricity, runs cooler and produces brighter, more even lighting. Any ideas?
